School Supplies Haul 2016-2017

It’s that time of year again… Summer is coming to a close and reality is starting to sink in: school is starting. Perhaps you already started a couple weeks ago, or maybe the dreaded day is right after this labor day weekend. And whether you look forward to school or not, you gotta admit shopping for the supplies is the best part! Today I want to show you some of the items that I have purchased for the back to school season. June 2016 Favorites

Hey everyone! I’m finally back! It’s been a crazy last couple of months and I ended up missing some posts. I apologize for not having a May Favorites up last month, but I feel well rested after taking a little blogging break. In the month of May, one of my biggest bucket list items was checked off: adopting an 8 week old golden retriever. Little Ben has been keeping me SO crazy busy that taking a break from the internet world was a MUST! But I can’t wait to share with you some of the items that I’ve been loving this past June (and maybe a little bit of May, hehe…). Hope you enjoy!

Thoughts and Trails: Nature Walk

Michigan temperatures have finally been a lot more generous in these last few days, and like many other residents of the mitten state, I decided to take advantage of it and spend the day outdoor. With the brutal winter semester coming to a close, and finals taking over my mind, I came to the realization that Christ had suddenly faded from the center of my life. On this beautiful nature trail walk I took with a friend earlier today, I was able to take a couple steps back and really just set my mind on the things that really matter: God & His kingdom.

Morning Routine 2016: Getting Organized for Finals

So my mornings always start rushed because I stay up too late the night before, underestimating how much sleep I need. And when I finally wake up, the last thing I want to do is move… Can anyone relate? With final exams right around the corner, I figured I really need to get a morning routine together to make myself feel more productive and motivated throughout the day. These last few weeks of classes are always the hardest, am I right? This routine is more oriented toward a school day, but it is mostly what I like to do to start off any day!
